Hyperrealism Magazine #7 – June issue

Hyperrealism Magazine #7

We open this fantastic number with an exclusive content, our first live coverage event in occasion of the Venice Biennale: the exhibition at Giardini della Marinaressa where we met Carole Feuerman and her breathtaking sculptures!

We finally reveal all the fantastic artists who will be present at the July exhibition in collaboration with Copro Gallery and we’ve been so lucky to interview Kazu Hiro, one of the most amazing hyperrealistic sculptor and Oscar winner and also one of the Copro represented artists.

There are interviews with outstanding talented artists, such as James Earley, who wants to give a strong message with his portraits of homeless people, Jackson Lee and his magical Hong Kong atmospheres and Irene Georgopoulou who fascinates us with her family objects that are the protagonists of her still-lifes.

We also talk about the art of trompe-l’oeil by Dominique Houard, Alex Devereux and his particular scenes, Tammy Liu Haller with her softness in the use of pencil, Stephanie Schechter with her photorealistic signs, David V Wheeler and his amazing Italian landscapes, Danguole Serstinskaja, who stroke us with her tender animal portraits, the photorealism of Erwin Moore and Fernando Ferreiro and the world of illustration.

For our “Tea With…” we talked with Robin Eley who explain us his new original project “MP*RE” in collaboration with his friend Max Papendieck, a LA famous fashion photographer, where they pull together to create unique artworks, composed by photos and painting, for a charity sale to assign to the Ocean Conservancy.

We also discover the art of some artists we’re going to know better in the next issues: the fantastic and brilliant art of Michael Weiss, Jaclyn Garlock and her terrific American ordinary suburb scenes and Leslie Thiel with her lovely stunning figures. And last but not least, we enjoy Anna Rita Centura with her complex and symbolic drawings, the talented Edoardo Petracca, Jane Jones and her beautiful flowers, the particular scenes of Christoph Eberle, Nanda Hoep and her minutious detailed animals, Alexandre Granger and his new cool version of the Mona Lisa, the romantic still-lifes of François Chartier, the lovely flowers of Tic and the superb art of Alexandre Monntoya.

And to finish, on our back cover you’ll find the poster of Chris Klein solo exhibition, that will last till July 6 at Bernarducci Gallery, NY, US. Really a must-attend event for everyone in the area!
